SLURRY SERVICE

An application involving a flow medium consisting of small solid particles suspended in a liquid. Coal slurry, consisting of about equal parts of coal and water, is transported by pipeline from coal mines to power plants where the coal is de—watered and burned. A specially modified Grove B-5 ball valve is offered for this service.
