UNIONS

A method of making pressure-tight jointings between pipes, valves and appliances, whilst per-mitting the removal of any individual component without disassembling the main piping system. Usually comprised of a ferrule or ferrules held together by a union nut to form a pressure-tight joint. The ferrules being adapted for all types of pipes or tubes.
