HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVES
A valve in which the closing mechanism is lifted from the body seat, worked in semi-open positions and lowered onto the body seat with a piston or elastomeric diaphragm by a hydraulic force whose axis is perpendicular to the face of the body seat. Diaphragm isolates the medium controlled by the valve from the atmosphere and from the hydraulic control chamber.
HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE BODY TYPES
Globe valve:
A valve having a body in which the ends are in line with each other and in which the axis of the control mechanism, diaphragm and disc are at right angles to that of the body ends.
Oblique valve:
A valve having a body in which the ends are in line with each other and in which the axis of the control mechanism, diaphragm and disc are oblique to that of the body ends.
Angle valve:
A valve having a body in which the ends are at right angles to each other and in which the axis of the control mechanism, diaphragm and disc are in line with that of one body end.
